We recommend offering a smaller promo for the first 3-5 days of the sale and sharing your gallery to capitalize on the initial excitement of your clients. Then, a few days before the gallery expiration date, we recommend running another "before it's too late" sale to catch any procrastinators with a bit of time pressure.
There's no better time to run a promotion than the holiday season. A timely reminder of the available products in a Holiday Gift Guide Custom Page, or a Holiday Gallery Re-Release combined with a discount can get you up to 20% more print sales from each of your clients.
A fixed amount discount combined with an order minimum is a promotion often used by some of our top sellers. The steps are simple:
- Create a coupon in your Zenfolio account.
- Set the coupon type to be a fixed amount discount.
- Don't forget to set an order minimum and be sure that your price list markup can sustain the discount you're offering.
- Send out a gallery invite to your clients sharing your promotion.
- We recommend sending out a reminder email on the day before your coupon expires. That time pressure and reminder always bring in a significant amount of additional orders.
